DR. SANJAY CHAUBE
Dr. Sanjay Chaube is a board-certified general internist and primary care physician who provides comprehensive primary care and treats acute and chronic conditions. He is from Bay St. Louis, MS, where he practiced primary care and as a hospitalist for 17 years. His clinical interests include chronic disease management, diabetes, tobacco cessation, obesity management, and transitions of care.
Dr. Chaube completed medical school at the Baroda Medical College in India and Internal Medicine residency training at Medical College of Ohio (now University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences). He received a Master’s Degree in molecular neuroscience from the University of North Texas. He was voted Physician of the Year in 2019 at Memorial Hospital by his patients for his outstanding service and dedication.
DR. RONALD SLIPMAN
Dr. Slipman is a board-certified family medicine physician and faculty liaison to Tulane’s rural family medicine preceptors. He provides comprehensive family medicine for adults and children, with special interests in preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and men’s health.
Dr. Slipman received his undergraduate degrees in Biology and French from Washington University in St. Louis. He received his medical degree from the Tulane University School of Medicine, where he was elected to the Arnold P. Gold Humanism in Medicine Honor Society. He completed his residency in family medicine at East Jefferson General Hospital and joined the faculty at Tulane University School of Medicine. He is also active in the Louisiana Academy of Family Physicians and the American Academy of Family Physicians.
DR. RACHANA SUS
Dr. Sus is a board-certified in Internal Medicine physician since 2008 and an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Tulane School of Medicine. Dr. Sus has a special interest in managing obesity through medical management and nutrition. She also has keen interest in improving patient record keeping for better patient care through enhancing electronic medical records.
After completing her MBBS from India, she came to Birmingham, Alabama to complete her master’s in public health from UAB. After moving to New Orleans, she completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Ochsner where she worked in the department of inpatient and outpatient medicine until 2013. She has practiced at the LCMC Multispecialty Clinic since 2013 prior to joining us.
A. JENINE DABON, MN, APRN
Ms. Jenine Dabon is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Hampton University in Hampton, VA. Ms. Dabon practiced as a Registered Nurse in medical-surgical, critical care and oncology for over 15 years prior to returning to graduate school. She received a Master of Science degree in Nursing from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans in 2014. Prior to joining Tulane University, Ms. Dabon served as Faculty in the Undergraduate Nursing Program at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center and went on to work as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in Primary Care with a focus on Health and Wellness.
Additionally, she completed several clinical rotations in the following areas: Women’s Health, Pediatrics, Health Assessments, Endocrinology and Acute/Chronic Care Management. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Ms. Dabon also holds professional memberships with the Louisiana Association of Nurse Practitioners and Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society.
JASMINE BUI, DNP, APRN, AGNP-C
Jasmine Bui is a board-certified Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia. She practiced as a Registered Nurse in critical care for 6 years prior to completing graduate studies. She received her Doctor of Nurse Practice degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in Birmingham, Alabama in 2021. Additionally, her diverse clinical training includes rural family medicine, primary care serving a predominantly Vietnamese population, chronic and acute disease management, and rheumatology. Jasmine is deeply passionate about providing compassionate, culturally sensitive care that empowers patients across the lifespan to manage their health and improve their quality of life. She holds professional memberships with the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society.
